FAQs
Does acupuncture hurt?
No, acupuncture is generally safe when performed by a licensed practitioner using sterile needles. The needles are very thin and disposable, and the risk of infection is low. There is little to no pain when the needles are inserted. Some may feel a slight prick or a tingle, or a dull ache.
How often do I need treatment?
The frequency of treatment depends on your medical condition.
Is my insurance covered?
Most PPO plans have acupuncture coverage, as well as some HMO’s. Call your carrier to find out or confirm with our front desk staff. Deductibles may apply.
Do you take workers compensation?
Yes! We accept workers compensation through many Networks for acupuncture and massage.
